Jure, we need more of this! You need to launch it.

People are crying out.

Am at ISEA2008 in Singapore. We are in a forum about ecological stuff, human impacts of conferences and one suggestion is that every international visitor to a conference has to sponsor/find two locals participants….

So ISEA2008 had pretty much all those things including + continuous food (finger food, spring rolls, noodles, sweets), water, punch, coffee, tea, buses for transport to remote venues, help desks with directions to venues (staffed with friendly economics students), wifi was accessed with an individual key and password that they gave on request(open wifi with webpage login) or via email if requested before. Compared to usual faffing at (uk)universities, this was painless and quick.
early bird rates were around £70/E100, 4 days, 4 openings and a lawrence lessig keynote!
